Stephen is an expatriate American of many years residence in the UK. He turned his enthusiasm into his profession in 1995. Previously he was an academic librarian with a number of degrees. His training has included:

• The study of sculpture at university
• an HNC from Glasgow Metropolitan
• Study with Paul San Casciani
• Master class with Klaus Moje

He is currently represented in the travelling exhibition “Cutting Edge” selected and organised by the National Museums of Scotland.

He is influenced by a number of European abstract artists of the 20th century, and by the countryside of his youth as much as the built environment that we all have surrounding us. Of course, life events also influence the themes of his work.

Stephen designs original works in conjunction with the client, constructs the work using the best time-tested techniques available, and has installation services available in Glasgow and London.

The commissions he has worked on include domestic and ecclesiastical windows, architectural and decorative glass, and sculptures.

He has made windows and decorative glass for clients throughout Scotland and has pieces in England, Italy, and the United States of America.

He also offers consultancy services relating to decorative and architectural glass.

Stephen's work is represented in:

• He also conducts restoration of leaded and painted panels and reproduction of etched glass, using the pre-existing design or a new one.
