Chisel & Mouse mark Underground’s birthday in unique way

The world famous London Underground will be celebrating its 150th anniversary next year, and to commemorate this remarkable milestone, Chisel & Mouse have produced a limited edition series consisting of architecturally correct models of the most iconic stations.

They have painstakingly created a ‘classic’ station model from each of three distinct architectural periods of the Underground in a highly detailed, miniature form.

Chisel and Mouse have chosen the long, sleek Farringdon Station, designed by Charles W Clark, as their example of the pioneering period in the late 19th century. Mornington Crescent Station has been chosen from the expansion phase that took place in the early 20th century, which was designed by Leslie Green in the style of ‘Arts and Crafts’.

From the 1930‘s ‘golden period’ of design, Chisel & Mouse have modelled the eye-catching Sudbury Town Station.  The models each cost £129, they are available from various outlets including the London Transport Museum shop and
