If the seductive colours, forms and textures of glass fascinate you, Exemplar Glass Studio is the perfect place to take your first steps into the world of art glass.

Fused (“warm”) glass is a relatively new craft, with a large palette of colours, shapes and textures to create jewellery, bowls, panels and much more.

“Hot” glass (lampworking) is an ages old technique of melting and winding, combined with modern kiln annealing - to produce glass beads of every colour and shape.

Every month courses are offered in both techniques in our well equipped studio, together with workshops in stained glass, enamelling, mosaics and jewellery making.

Stephen designs original works in conjunction with the client, constructs the work using the best time-tested techniques available, and has installation services available in Glasgow and London.

The commissions he has worked on include domestic and ecclesiastical windows, architectural and decorative glass, and sculptures.
